Travel Destinations According to Budget and Duration
It is never easy to start planning a trip, especially when you are doing it on your own and starting from scratch. Above all else, budget is definitely the top criteria for any vacation. The following are a list of important budget related questions you have to ask yourself to kick start your planning
What is the higher limit of your budget?
When we set a budget for the vacation, the budget comprise of all costs involved for the trip. Yes that include buying of souvenirs and any other shopping. Having said that, luxury products like buying a Rolex in Switzerland will definitely be parked under a separate budget. What is our higher limit? It is important to determine how luxurious or cost efficient we want our vacation to be. Does this mean we cannot have a luxurious vacation with a tighter budget? Not necessary. A luxurious vacation can still take place at a destination with a lower cost of living.
Self-drive (S) is probably the most cost efficient and experiential way of internal travel in Canada if you- Do not mind long drives- On a tighter budget- Rather save the money and focus on better quality for food, accommodation and shopping etc.
Travelling by Flight (F) is probably the fastest way to get around Canada, especially when the destination of choice is far or highly unaccessible. The cost of internal flight range from $500 - $1200 Canadian Dollar base on location, season and availability.
Rail is another good way to travel from point to point as it takes a shorter time to travel (compared to self-drive), able to access more location compared to both flight and self-drive as well as capability to bring passengers from city to city (you will need to access alternative transport to bring you from city to airport and vice versa). However, cost of travelling by rail can be on par or even more expensive than travelling by plane at times. This article is based on Toronto, Ontario Canada as the country of origin. Pricing will differ base on alternate country of origin.
